Hi all,

i am in the middle of my 1990 mini mayfair project and wanted some opinions/advice on dashboard styling.

I really like the look off the Drift digital speedos, clocks, rev counter etc, but i was wondering what they are like to fit? or has anyone else used anything else similar to give a digital speedo, preferably with blue LEDs in them?

any ideas or opinions please let me know.

Thanks

Talking about clocks, a guy visited my gliding club last week and brought with him his glider which had twin Heuer clocks fitted.

Now these are really valuable for historic rallying and are worth a lot of money. I would love a set for my '64 'S' so I wondered if he wanted to sell them without realising what he actually has.

No luck, he knows exactly what he has and by coincidence he used to rally a Cooper 'S' back in the late 60's/early 70's and brought me some photos to see. He also used to service for a good friend of mine back 'in the day'.

Small World in both motor-sport and aviation it seems.

I guess I'll have to stick with my current clocks then.
