I just bought my first Mini (-93 1275SPi) and now we're getting to know each other =)

I noticed that when the engine is cold it doesn't run smoothly.

The engine goes pretty close to the point where it almost stalls but still keeps running okay and increases rpm... this happens until the engine is warmed up.

When engine is warm enough it runs nicely but somehow I think that the revs are a bit high?

Why I think... that's due to reason that somehow rpm gauge is not working either properly.

Any ideas what to do/try with both of these problems?

Sorry about my bad english... and also this is my second post to this forum...

so be gentle
