So I am now deceding whether to change the colour of my Mini or not, I would like to change it to a red with black roof and to get that done with inside and outside of the mini it would cost around £800 but I don't know if it's worth getting the mini resprayed the same colour and get a black roof. I would like a mk1 grill and moustache as well if I was to paint it red, also I will be getting wider arches either way as I like the look of a low mini but with a little wideness to it, what do you guys think?

Here's my Mini currently:

and this is the red I would like:

As classic as the red mini with contrasting black roof is, it's kind of been done to death. If you were to respray in the original colour with a black roof instead, then it would be a little more original. It should also cost significantly less too, as the respray should only need to be external. Plus if you did ever want to return it to it's original studio 2 LE spec in the future, then this would be much cheaper/easier to do.

Ultimately if your heart is set on a red car with a black roof though, then you should probably just go for that. Anything else is bound to leave you a bit disappointed, even if it does make more sense practically & financially.

I think I am going to keep it with the Nordic Blue with Black rood and put a mk1 grill on :) like you said red has been done so many times

I agree! It would be something different as Nordic Blue is a rarer colour! :D

I quite like it the way it is!
Maybe if you changed to 10s and changed the arches it would look different, its your car though
