are you sure its a mini 1000, i think all were 1275 from 1990, plus it looks like youv'e got aircon so i would of thought it would be a bigger engine to run the AC compressor, they can sap quite a bit of power from the engine.

i take it import rules are differant for Canada compaired to US, due to vehicle age. US needs to be 25 years old or something ?

i see they have another one listed, that includes a document pic with what looks like a 99XAI engine number which would indicate 1000cc as in description. clicky
as i said before this will take a fair bit of power to run the AC when its on.

should be a great little run about, and a realy cool one B)

yeah by engine number its definately a 1000 and look at airfilter box, i wouldn't mind importing one from japan no rust, aircon and other extras you don't get here, owell maybe one day ;)

I love that dash...it's so retro-cool! I want it, dear god, I want it!

Damn England for being too cold for air-con to take off in a Mini

flippin 'eck that engine bay looks a little busy! my quick way of telling a 1000 from 1275 is the colour of it - yellow is 998, red 1275. unless its been painted up, in which case refer to guessworks engine number guide! welcome to TMF!

i didn't think they come from the factory in those colours. i've only seen origional engines in green or black
