just wondering if anyone can tell me what i would need to fit a servo to my mini , its a 1985 city e so didn't come with one as standard ?

The easiest option would be do buy a complete servo set-up from a post '88 Mini and rebuild and bolt it on. You will also have to swap either the pedal box or just the servo brake pedal.

 

This would be a good option although I would definitely give a good scrub and rebuild the master cylinder. Clicky
