I just received a set of brake hoses from GB car parts in South Florida. One of the front hoses is the wrong size, but I can remember which hose was in which bag. One hose is longer by about an inch. One bag is labelled   "GBH249 BRK3052 Brake Hose - Front Disc". The other "GBH158 BRK3050 Brake Hose - Front Drum".  I need the to exchange the drum brake one since my car has discs. Is the long hose for discs?

I think I found my answer in the Minispares website.... disc hose is shorter. So any problem using the longer one on a disc set up?

In the uk the longer hose can rub on the suspension arms, this can be an mot failure as the hose could be rubbed through.

Well, in that case I might need to get it exchanged then.
