Had a new Burlen alloy 48mm throttle body through for my MPI. Anyone had to move the little metal fuel rail to make it fit? Instructions suggest you have to do this.

 

Also does setting the lost motion gap and indexing the stepper apply to MPIS or is it just for SPI's?

no idea about the fuel rail but the setting of the lost motion gap refers to the spi not the mpi

Ok whats the best way to adjust throttle cable as its too tight And causing revs to increase at idle. just loosen it off a bit?

Yeah just twist the black plastic bit until the butterfly can close fully
