Pagid supply VW and Audi as OEM. Theyre quite well respected in most brand circles so its unlikely to be any different for Mini pads.

Ive got a Pagid brake master cylinder in my Mini and its a high quality item.

Yes as above used them on a VW Golf and Passat in the past, not noticeably different to the genuine VW part.

Their aftermarket stuff is good as well. Respected manufacturer.

Hi guys, sorry digging up an old thread but would anyone be interested in any of these brake pads? I could do them at a very good price if so

The Carbon-Metallic pads as supplied for 7.5" brakes by Mini Spares might well be by Pagid. They are the best pads I've ever used.

Is that for road or track Cooperman? Do they have good bite from cold?

I use the Carbon-Metallic pads for 'S' brakes which I think are made by Pagid, but I get them from Mini Spares. I've must have tried every competition pad over the years including the excellent Ferodo DS11 (NLA due to asbestos content), EBC and Mintex 1144 to 1177 and the C-B ones are the very best. On a rally car they work well from almost cold right up to the point when the discs are literally glowing red hot, for which AP600 brake fluid is needed.

For an alternative for 8.4" brakes I've used Mintex 1177 for rallying and they are also great. I had them in my Rover 214Si Endurance Rally Car and they too worked with the discs red hot.

Modern comp pads all work well from cold, unlike the old race/rally pads of the '60's & '70's.
