can any body help me identify the company who stamp engine numbers in to blocks as  pics

1975 1275 gt engine  taken rocker cover off and has double valve springs 

any help mutch appreciated

It's a re-manufacturers mark, so the engine has been reconditioned at some stage in its past... As it's an A series engine and the stamps look fairly old, I would suggest it'll be quite difficult to track down a specification or possibly who did it.

many thanks taken rocker cover off has double valve springs  will look at the engine more when it comes to rebuilding it 

 

you would not happen to know the engine code no for a 1976 pickup 850 engine  got the numbers in log book but plate is unreadable  doing

 a rest so would like it to look right
