I'm supposed to be getting one of these - if it ever turns up - looks like it is lost in the post (
nice pic's - If we could tell what they are - can't see any holes , & don't know what colour rust would be ?
but think I can see wax - so maybe why there is no rust ?

photos three and four show the vent holes that are in the original sills and then through the vent (a darker colour) you can see the surface of the oversill (thats my interpretation anyway but happy to be corrected) and there is some visible was but needs doing again, I did not realise that the seat belt bolt holes gave such good access, have ordered some waxoyl, photo five shows the edge of the bolt fixing hole and the the surface of the original inner sill, when I slid the gadget along, it went smoothly both ways without catching on anything which, again, I am hoping is a good sign, obvioulsy its not as good as taking the oversills off but short of cash at the moment so this was at least something, I should have mentioned that the car is red so on photos 3 and 5 thats thick dust/gunge with the paint below

Think of all the extra benefits! You can do discounted colonoscopies on the side to fund the Mini projects.

I wrote a few lines on these the other day, you can buy chinese scopes off Amazon from £8. I found it very useful working on a van recently where I couldnt see a crucial bolt, I taped the scope to the socket then guided it onto the bolt saved a lot of swearing. Overall great tool
