    One Carb Or Two?

My wife has a 94 car with non matching headlights.  She wants to replace them with a matching pair.  She wants them to look original (i.e. none of those lights with yellow tints or similar) but hopefully light the road better.

I've looked around and haven't got a clue what's decent and/or gives good value.

Can you good people point me in the right direction please?

The P700's are amazing, I have them on mine.  She won't have them as they don't look standard.

These look standard enough.  Seem very cheap.  Presumably they could be fitted with a brighter bulb than a 55/60?

Wipac Quadoptics look like standard sealed beams, I have them on mine.
You should really go for a higher rated bulb unless you add some relays. It will put extra strain on the wiring and switchgear.

Cheers all.  The quadoptics will do the job.  I'll get some ordered.

I like the Autopals I've fitted: http://www.holden.co...p?pCode=010.277  they look kinda cool with their 'plain-ness' buried in the Clubman  headlight 'holes'.  The beam split is fairly good, good for the price anyway.

I've yet to see another mini with P700's but get loads of comments on mine. They're brilliant.

Cibie H180 if light output and original looks are what you're after.

MiniSport are usually the cheapest supplier:

P700s are lovely, planning some for my Cooper at some point :) For those interested they're only 40quid plus VAT at Minispeed.
