Hi everyone,

As you may of seen in a previous thread of mine, afraid to say my wife has stage 4 terminal cancer. We have both had to give up work, and so here I am thinking of selling the mini to help us out.

Two valuations if possible one with and one without mot (just run out), to see if its worth getting the mot done.

The car is a 1983 Austin 998cc Auto with 35k on the clock I'm the 3rd owner.

It was brown, but is now flame red, not the best paint job to be honest and could do with a cut and polish to improve it or a better spray job.

Has 13x7 ultralites, Yoko's all round (two rears are getting low, fronts look new)

Front discs fitted (second hand), although has a grinding noise since fitted, thought it was old discs so replaced them with new discs and pads but still there, next guess was wheel bearing, have a new one just not fitted yet, car drives fine still.

Has a stage one kit and rc40 exhaust.

spi seats and door cards, new red carpet not fitted very well, but have the original grey one still in good condition.

Mechanically it needs the fuel mixture setting up correctly, the wheel bearing/s done, and a new positive battery cable run (current one snagged on the exhaust in the past and melted a small bit of insulation (now taped up).

If I mot it I will improve the paint, and it will have the fuel mixture sorted as its to rich for an mot...will get the front inspected for any issues just in case.

Seems to be rust free although a corner is missing from behind the front bumper (a small lip) so bumper is a little loose that side.Has had only one small plate welded on the floor in the past.

Has had loads spent on it, new points, dizzy, leads, coil, plugs, oil change etc.

That's all I can think of at the moment, Its a pretty solid mini, but still needs some jobs doing as you can see.

It breaks my heart to have to sell it, but needs must.

Thanks for reading if you have made it this far!

Jay.
