Does any body have any diagrams of fixing the brake backplates to the radius arms or any help, my wheels seem to be wonky

how do you mean wonky? like if you jack it up and grab the wheel it moves from side to side? need more information really

To answer your question regarding the backplate. At the end of the radius arm there is a triangular shaped machined face with a hole in each point (see first link).  The screws that fix the backplate go through these holes & then through the backplate (see three hole in the backplate in the 2nd link).

These bolts do not hold the wheel at all, just the backplate so will not affect the alignment of the wheels. The wheel is held on by the stub axle that passes through this end of the radius arm (item 4 in the first link), the bearing that slides over it (items 26-32) & the correctly torqued hub nut (item 34).

 

If your wheels seem wonky, jack the back end up and firstly grab the wheel at 12 o'clock & 6 o'clock and waggle it. Movement could be a failed bearing. Then grab it at 9 o'clock & 3 o'clock and waggle, movement here could be failed radius arm pivot shaft sleeve (item 10 in link 1).
