hi whats the best method to do to clean a roof lining and sunvisors with out damaging them or staining them? thanks tom

I used autoglym interior shampoo on mine. Was pretty grubby before, looked great after

Decosol is worth looking at. I have not tried this latest formula but it was regarded as one of the best interior cleaners in the 60's and 7's. Search Decosol Interior Cleaner on ebay but maybe available in a motor parts shop.

also what kind of material would you scrub it with? would the back of a sponge be ok the green scourer thingy? thanks tom

Decosol on ebay can be found cheaper than via the link you posted. I used a soft nail brush as a scrubbing tool. Early Decosol smelt strongly of soap - this is probably as effective as anything and if it's safe for skin it shouldn't harm interior plastics. The secret is gentle circular brushing and wiping after with a clean damp towel and turn this regularly - you can judge when you have the cleanest vinyl when the towel does not show dirt after wiping.
