hi ive brought a 1986 mini city e auto . its only don 14000 from new its fully original and its never seen rain  . any body give me advice how to store this car safely , its my first mini and im a total novice . advice welcomeAttached File  IMG_0496.JPG   143.71K   42 downloads

Looks good, Doesn't look original to me though, wheels, roof colour, grille etc should be different IIRC

thanks mate  I brought it off a old women who has owned it for 20 years .full service history. I do need to get an exhaust fitted cause its still the original 1 and its got a small hole in the back box . can u recommend a garage or what kind of exhaust

the lady did say the roof was sprayed black before she owned it. any body no who much this car is worth.

Being the less desirable auto, then probably 2k

 

If you replace the exhaust with a standard one, they are very quick and easy to change at home with basic tools, If not, any exhaust centre would oblige and they aren't expensive either

even with the mileage being so low ,its a stunning car.ive saw loads of similar car but not as mint as mine and higher miles on the clock go for £3500 . is it a car the will gain value mate?

They all will eventually.

 

My estimate is just my guess. Best to look on eBay and do a search of completed listings to see what similar cars have sold for.

 

The market for mini's seems very confused at the moment with huge differences in prices for similar cars.
