Hi guys
I was thinking about buying and putting some 100 spoke chrome wire wheels on my mini. However I haven't a clue on where to start. Anyone know of a brand or size of wire wheel that will fit on a classic mini.
Thanks Mizzy 😝

You could probably get some MG Midget/A-H Sprire wire wheels to fit with a flange adaptor, but they would be 13" and probably no wider than 4 or 4.5", so getting a 13" tyre of low profile but narrow section could be a problem. A 145/60 x 13 might work, or possibly a 165/55 x 13 if still available.

Would be a lot of work and probably very expensive for no real gain.

I think there's probably a reason why they are hard to get a hold of..... It's gods way of saying " don't bother my son there's plenty of better options "

Thanks for the info.... And wise words lol.

I'll look into it but if it's like £800 a wheel I'll have to look the other way.

I've seen a pic of a gold/orange mini with them on and I thought it looked well sweet - it also had lambo doors which didn't look sweet at all lol. I'll see if the pic will post.

Thought about chasing down some Ssr mesh or other brand instead? They won't look the same but might make a good substitute.

I don't like the ssr ones tbo. But thanks for the idea.
I'm trying to find out who the mini ^^ belongs to and ask him or her what they used - but that will be very unlikely that I do.
I've seen some jaguar ones but again I think they're way too big like 15".
Or even if it was like a custom job - maybe getting a hold of a company that makes them.
