i actually have a mk1 shell but i dont want ti use that. i have a mk3 shell that i have just read up is easier to use. ile get the thread up.

it will be internal hinged on the shell i would be using but if it was external hinged how would that effect it? thanks tom

ahh right i fort all doors was the same size.. ile look into it more as i do want a pickup but the price of a project is steep but to have the real thing then a copy is the difference.

Heres the difference between the doors, mk3 shell with a mk1 door.

You would have to modify the front of a pickup quarter if you wanted to fit them to the front a MK3 shell. Not a huge job considering the amount of work you'd be in for with the rest of it.

ahh yeh ino the doors are different i will be leaving the doors as a mk3 door i wouldnt change the doors.. i have seen pickups with the same doors as a mk3 mini tho.

They were more than likely Clubman estates chopped into pickups.

According to my calculations it would cost £2,464.81 in panels!!!!!!
