when i was reversing yesterday the gearlever kept jumping out of gear.
it was only when i sped up a bit so i dont think it is a problem with the box. is it possibly engine mounts and steadies? or is Guessworks going to getting an order?

must admit, unusual for a gearbox to jump out of reverse...

Mine does that every now and then if you really give it some in reverse. I can't imagine how as reverse is a straight cut gear so there should be minimal side loading on it. I think it could be to do with engine movement pulling on the gear lever but again my engine is very tightly tied in. Seems to get worse when the clutch needs adjusting though. It's been doing it since MED built it for me and it's shown no other problems in the last four or five years. Second gear is still fine and everything else works.
