does anyone have a wiring diagram for a mk1 metro turbo ignition?
there seems to be no spark from the coil, but the distributor works, as we tried it on Bluemini(Red)'s car...we get a 13v reading from the coil, but when it turns over it drops instead of going up and crazy-like. tried different leads etc... thinking about maybe putting all the old system on and see if it starts... plus the metro connector on the distributor baffles me.. are they both the same, and connect to the coil (-)???
Shitty Turbo wont start...

there are two wires coming off the dizzy, one goes to positive side of the coil, the other goes to negative side of the coil. there should be a live to the coil, and a balast resister connected to it.
white from the dizzy goes to pos i think
white with trace goes to neg on coil
pos feed to coil
balast resister on pos side of coil.
i will take a photo of my setup for you if you like.

have you got a steel or ally rocker cover, if its ally, no you cant, because you would be trying to weld steel to ally and that just dont work.

You can't run the oil return into the rocker cover !
The oil return is not under pressure, it needs to be below the Turbo in order for it to be able to drain.
That is why the metro Turbo has the return fitted into the back of the block where the fuel pump mounts on the normally aspirated engines.
