Hi,I need to find some type of replacement for the card reinforcement panels. There is one each side, two different shapes that lye ontop of the lower dash to stop anything falling into the footwell.
I have a new dash lining, from optimise automotive, but once fitted there is a large gap behind it, which im sure is where the card reinforcement usually covers?
Any idea what I could use as a replacement for the card,do not fancy paying £18 quid for new ones. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you have them fitted wrong - the windscreen heater pipes sit behind the binnacle dash liners, so the binnacle dash liners then sit on the dash tray liner, meaning there is no gap between the panels (that seems to be the common mistake).

Also, check out the fitting guide on the website: LINK

Somebody has previously done this and posted photos (before and after) in our trade section thread: BEFORE and AFTER

Hope that helps.

Thanks

Hi,I had no heater pipes fitted at the time, but i guess they all have a gap at the rear if looking from beneath by the pedals and passenger footwells near to the bulkhead.?
