Hi guys,

I know this has been asked a hundred times but I just need a bit of clarification on things.

I've ordered and received a ultralight verto clutch kit from MED (looks a really good bit of kit) and I think I need to lap the crank nose in but do I either:

A - Lap it in using my new MED clutch kit? (Primary gear hasn't been installed yet)

B - Lap it in using my old clutch centre?

Thanks in advance,
Ian

I'd say it depends on the condition of the crank. If it has some high spots, from fretting, you might get them down a bit first with the old fly. Though you could just draw file them.
