Hi all, i have read a few topics about this but still no straightforward answer.
Im building a 1275 engine with a lightened flywheel and uprated camshaft.
Would anyone recommend fitting a tensioner on a duplex chain or not? before i put an in from minisport.

Personal preference really. I would. Make sure you have a high quality chain.

I use one on duplex chains and so does our AC Dodd, they do wear even if they are duplex

Tensioner? This must be a new thing. Never needed one in the past.
