This one is non-mini but after so e advice, my better half had insurance with diamond on her car last year fully comp and the renewal price came back this year quite competitive so we left it to continue... However after a bump in her car we called to report and found out they've changed it to TPFT without us knowing so she's left to stand the bill on her car... Where do we stand in this or have we not got a leg to stand on?

Cheers

What did the renewal paperwork say exactly?? Did you just assume it was fully comp and went ahead without reading the whole renewal letter??

I think you need to speak to them about it - maybe a manager who can investigate it.

I think the answer lies in the word "renewal", you renewed the existing policy, if they changed the cover they must specifically bring that to your attention that the cover has changed before you proceeded.
