it is to much of my regret that I'm having to put my mini 25 up for sale after 4 years in my ownership. My reason for sale is, I'm moving out and will no longer have a garage to keep it in and I don't want to see it rot away outside or get stolen.

In the past 4 years I've made many changes to my mini but mainly to get it back to it's original look as when I bought it, It didn't have the original parts fitted. It has been used every single day, which means I have always got things that needed doing done and always by a well respected Mini Specialist (Col's Mini Centre)

Austin Mini 25 1984:

reconditioned A+ 998cc Engine +20 overbore, New radiator, New HT Leads, Carb serviced, new gearbox, basically everything in engine bay replaced, cleaned, repainted 10 months ago.

JVC stereo
Vibe speakers under back seat (Hidden)
Original parcel shelf speakers (Not connected)
4 good Falkan tyres (replaced last month)
New rear subframe 2 years ago
very solid shell (wax oyled in doors, all underneath)
Few small bits of rust but nothing major
will come with Handbook, Brochure, Mini 25 programme and reproduction Mini 25 seat cushions x2
Tax and MOT until next year

Last MOT, passed with no advisories!

I also have spare door cards, steering wheel centre and 2 front seats that I can throw in if I get the right price.

£3250 Ono.

Any questions then please ask and I'll do my best to answer them.

Can you put in a condition of sale that they keep it EXACTLY the way it is?

It's gorgeous! My 25 aspires to look like this one day.

That's what I'm most scared of, when I sell it. I'd like the new owner to keep it a 25 and not a Cooper replica but that would put off quite a few people.

I know mate but what can I do, I'm at a time in my life where I need the money for other life commitments. I would like to come back to Mini's at some stage in my life and perhaps another 25 but who knows. Thanks for the nice words anyway :)

It needs to stay as a 25, there are loads of Cooper replicas out there

Hey Simon, what's your offer? I have a price in mind that I can afford to let it go for.

This HAS to go to a good home.

There are too many 25's knocking about with the wrong colour paint and wrong interiors with alloys and other stuff on.

I know it's up to the owner but we are quickly loosing these original examples and i think it's a shame

Yea it will be sad to see it changed, especially when it's taken me so long to source all the parts for it but like you say, it's the owners choice.

What's that?

Its a legal document that the buyer must sign to agree not to make any changes.

They are used in house sales most commonly as a way to make sure that the new owner doesn't change certain things.

I wasn't being entirely serious in this case and i'm not even sure that they can be used on car sales.

Have you had any encouraging enquiries on the car yet?

Ben

I haven't had any offers of anything I'd accept as of yet. But then again I have not yet advertised it on any other sites other than here. I was thinking car and classic and maybe one more place. I can't be arsed with eBay lol.

There are so many time wasters on eBay.

Car and Classic is a good call, probably about your best bet

Good luck

Ben
