    Starting My Mini Up

Just thought I would drop a topic on the board re a visit I made to East Anglian Mini Centre yesterday.

I took the day off work as I'm some 70 miles away and despite early morning fog on the way there and the rain working against me on the way back am pleased to say that Ted, Nick and the team kept me updated whilst they performed a full service and applied some much needed attention to some key areas of the car, namely the brakes and one corner of the suspension.  I'm confident that if I had taken the car to a local mechanic I wouldn't have got the same result and definitely feel like I benefitted from the years of experience the team had to offer.

Next task when budget and family allow is a trip back up to get the car on the dyno and balance out the tune as Ted seems to think that it could be down on a little bit of power (I'm tempted to agree....).

For anyone looking for a good place to get a service or some work done then i'd recommend a visit.  If any of the team from the centre are on the forum then thanks and hopefully see you again soon for a bit more time on the car.

Cheers,

Mike

Dragging up an old thread, but does anyone know if this company still exist? I have looked on their website and it doesn't appear to of been updated since before June 2014, so I'm not even sure if the telephone number or email address is correct.

While I'm asking, does anyone know if T W R Mini Specialists are still trading, also are their premises in Polstead Colchester or is that just a correspondence address?

Thanks

I live only a few streets away from EAMC. Never used them as I'm currently Mini-less, but it's good to know they have a good rep.
