Hi

First off sorry if this is in the wrong place please feel free to move if it is, secondly sorry if this question has already been answered but im new to minis and carb setups as im a peugeot diesel man usually.

Anyway, i have a 1991 1275 mini studio and the engine bay wiring is a disgrace, its starts amd runs but it really is dreadful and rather than just resolder and heatshrink it id rather just replace.

Do i need a 1275 carb wiring loom or can i use any carb loom?

Thanks in advance, dan

The Carb looms are very similar across the years, the main differences are the wiring for the starter on the early cars was inertia with a solenoid on the wing and the later had the wiring extended to reach the pre-engaged starter.

Better to use the correct year if you can get one.
