Here's my1984 Mini Mayfair, I've put a lot of time and effort into this car to make it look this good and I hope it shows!!!

It's an ideal first time mini or for the younger driver as its totally standard, right down to the exhaust so there will be no insurance issues, it runs and drives just as a mini should and I think(although I may be biased) that it looks fantastic in Oporto Red metallic paint.

The structure of the car is excellent and very original, there are vented sills fitted, not the usual horrible oversills, the floors, boot floor, rear companions bins etc are excellent.  There has been 2 patches welded to the front of the sills.  The front end looks to have been recently replaced as well.  The doors are in great condition.

When I got the car it was an automatic, I replaced the running gear with low mileage replacements from a manual car.  These have only done 30k miles, I also used the speedo from the donor car as well.  The engine swap has been changed with DVLA and all the numbers now match on the V5.  I can also supply a copy of the letter sent to DVLA as well.

The combination of a solid shell and the low mileage running gear makes this a fantastic little car to drive, the engine sounds like a swiss watch and its nice and tight to drive.  I've also fitted a new single box exhaust to it as well so it has a nice 'rasp' to it.

The paintwork looks smart and is quite a rare colour.

The interior is clean, although there is some staining on the headlining and the door cards aren't original.

There has been a new water pump and distributor fitted as well.

The rear subframe is good and the companion bins are solid as well.

The brakes work well and pull the car up smoothly and straight

This is an excellent example and will give you years of faithful service, there are no issues to addressed and its ready to use.  I'll put 12 months mot on it this week.

The pictures make the car look immaculate and do flatter it somewhat.  Viewings are welcome and encouraged, the car is located in Telford, Shropshire

It needs to go as I've bought another project and need to fund it!!

Also since the pictures were taken I've fitted rubber bungs to the wiper holes and got some trim bits for the mirrors to hide the bolts.
