Rosie's split rim exactons are now on disc conversion went well, dad forgot that the braided hoses are handed and the siezed hi-lo had to be cut out as it just would not budge... On to the next problem she will need a smidge cut from the front and now also requires new arches as the monte carlo W&P copies don't cover the chunky tyres... Wish W&P made an arch wider as I like the smoothness of those arches probably go for grp2 wides and have the screws covered up and painted....

£60.00 fine if the cops see. It's come to our attention that the front wheels aren't sitting in the centre of the arch... so now major job of putting this right... how this has happened i've no idea.

Thanks for the nice comments I've owned her for 3 years this month fourth mini i've owned and this one's a keeper.

Lovely mini and wheels. How wide are they? Shame you have to change the arches.

What size split rims are they? Force racing do various different sized outer hoops so you could try a smaller one to fit within the arches. Although from your pictures mine currently poke as much as that and had no issue with the police (mine is running slightly more negative camber so it means the tread isnt visible from above which is enough to satisfy the law.)

With regard to wheels sitting centrally in the arch the tie rod is whats responsible for your castor and thus where the wheel sits in the arch, getting adjustable ones can allow you to chage their position but be wary that it will affect the castor angle and how the car feels.
