Afternoon everyone,

Over winter id like to replace all the chrome on my mini with black/carbon replacements.

Struggling to find anything other than bumpers though really. Stuff like grilles, light surrounds, door handles, mirrors and wipers.

Cheers

My chrome grill was all tarnished, I just sanded it with some fine sand paper and gave it a few coats of gloss black. Its been on over a year and ain't peeled yet. I done the same for my wiper arms because I hate the chrome ones, again still fine... Have a look on my project thread and see what you think. Other then that unless you get it powder coated I don't think you'll find any.

I'm am trying to go the same way with my car. Although I'm still a while away from being ready to fit them, I bought black door handles and have my original black mirrors. As for all of the shiny bits I was looking into this black chroming kit, not cheap but should do what I'm looking for.

I done some lovely black detailing on my pickup when I had it, had them powder coated, not that expensive but it did look like a factory finish.
