Hi guys!

 

i have the two clock dash in my mini, i have the big plug n speedo on but no power is going too the temp guage or fuel!

 

i have three spade connector wires loose but no terminals on the clocks for them!!!

 

Can anyone helo? there is a green/blue green/red and green/orange also the clocks have no illumination

The wiring for all the clocks you have is in the multi plug. The extra cables you have are light green/orange which is power to a tacho, green and light green/brown which are for a flasher unit. The problem with the fuel and temperature gauges is likely to be the voltage regulator, which is inside the clock itself on that model. It's not a discreet component but is integrated into the clock. You will have to do a little testing with a meter to see if this is the issue. Lack of lighting isn't related though. Do the side and fail lights work?

ahhhhh right so the flasher relay goes too the green/brown and then??  i apologise im not very confident with wiring lol

unit sorry* dont suppose you know where the flasher relay connects do you mate?

The plain dark green and the light green / brown are for the flasher unit.
