1979 AUSTIN MORRIS MINI 1000.

THIS CAR HAS BEEN COMPLETELY NUT AND BOLT RESTORED.
 
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION:
Modified 1979 Mini 1000
 
ENGINE: 
998cc A+ block overboard to +0.040-inch (1030cc). 
AE Hepolite low-compression pistons. 
Hastings piston rings. A+ unleaded cylinder head. Verto clutch plate. 
Mildly lightened Verto flywheel. Replacement plastic-type clutch master cylinder. 
Twin-downpipe exhaust manifold, heatwrapped. 
Twin-box RC40 exhaust with stainless end contact points. Intermotor ballast coil.
MED crank pulley. NGK sparkplugs. Silicone HT leads. K&N element air filter in Rover airbox.
Aluminium 2-core radiator with drain plug. Mini Spares aluminium inlet manifold. 
Lucas 45D distributor. HIF38 Carburettor. Mini Sport mild road cam. 
Reground and polished A+ crank. Oil filter sandwich plate (for sensors).
 
GEARBOX:
A+ four-speed gearbox. 3.44:1 final drive ratio
 
SUSPENSION:
KYB AGX Adjustable dampers. Hi-Lo adjustable suspension. 
Replacement polyurethane bushes all round.
 
BRAKES:
8.4-inch Black Diamond grooved discs. Black Diamond pads. 
AP callipers powder-coated brake backplates. Minifin rear drums. 
Black diamond braided hoses front and rear. DOT4 Brake fluid.
1980-on, pre-servo brake master cylinder. Brake limiter valve.
 
WHEELS:
5.5x12 Ultralite wheels. 165/60x12 Falken tyres. Rim protectors
 
INTERIOR:
Black carpet with red edging. 
Custom retrimmed SPi seats finished in black vinyl, basket-weave fabric and red piping.
Front and rear red Metro seatbelts. 
Rover cooper 110mph speedo and gauges with custom facias from Galileo gauges. 
VDO auxiliary gauges.
Mini Cooper black leather steering wheel with red stitching.
Custom red laminate-effect dashboard, centre console. 
Monte Carlo style doorcards in black with red stitching. Bright white headlining.
Vinyl-covered dash rail with red stitching. Custom inner arch covers.
Custom gearstick and handbrake gaiters with red stitching.
 
EXTERIOR:
Some replacement panels. 
Rover Flame Red paint with Brilliant White roof.
Black plastic door mirrors. Towbar for trailer.
Front wheel arch liners. Black grille. Side repeaters. Mini special arches.

I would recommend adding the photos to your for sale ad.

 

People may not go to the trouble of asking for the photos plus the photos can be viewed at any time in situations where you may not be online to ask.

 

Good luck with the sale though!
