Aldi are advertising a power file for sale from Thursday £29.99
https://www.aldi.co....014-10-20_17-24
I have seen a few people say power files are great. Was looking to buy one so does this look any good?
Thanks

Also a reciprocating saw for £25. I'm liking Aldi at the moment, I may have to get my Dad to pop in and get me something when it's on offer

I love the days when i walk into aldi and catch some good stuff that has been reduced..usually half price

They seem to have stopped reducing stuff as quickly know though so i have to pay full price or risk losing out

Powerfile are brilliant. The only issue with that is to make sure it uses a standard length of belt or getting replacements could be an issue.

Thanks.
Do you know what a standard length is so I can check on Thursday
Cheers

There are a few standard sizes. Just stick powerfile belts in ebay, or look in machine mart and you will get an idea. My guess is that it will be same size as black and decker ones.

Surprised about the poor quality issue. Have had tools from there before without issue and they offer a 3 year warranty.
Not sure what to think now. Chance this or pay the extra.

Can't speak for the Aldi one, but the B&D ones are brilliant. I use mine for so many jobs I don't know how I lived without one. Well worth the £35 asking price.

The dremel type one isn't bad. Used mine a few times on the mini. Did the job.

Just don't run those parkside dremel tools flat out for too long as they go pop
