Hi all,

Not the best first post I was hoping for the Mini Forum but hopefully this will lead towards the recovery of a much loved Mini of ours...

Morris Mini Minor 1966
Reg KGO 463D
Colour -Maroon/Dark Red
Time of theft between Thursday 23rd PM- Saturday 25th October AM
Location Lock up garage, Canal Street, Long Eaton, Derbyshire

Also taken: several spares including Austin Healey hoodframe, complete Mini front subframe and various leather seats.

We've reported this to the police but would be grateful for any advice on keeping a lookout and spreading this information wider. I don't have a photo unfortunately

Thanks
Pat

Edited - yes a mini. And yes, words cant describe the rage for those responsible

I'm thinking of buying a wheel clamp for mine, my neighbours will think I'm mad as I suspect they think they are still worth a few hundred quid tops.

There is a mk1 near me that lives near a main road in clear view with no secuirty measures, its only a matter of time imo

Sad to hear about another one :-(
