Will It be a massive job?
The conversion would be getting done by someone how builds cobras so acrossed that level of expeirience.
What sort of tourque would I be looking at?
What sort of horse power would I be looking at?
And will I get more power from anything from 500 quid?
I know there is turbo minis that I can ask questions on but i also know there are a lot of people running on metro turbo lumps. And I also know I can use the search button but I'm going to need to ask questions that are more personal to me :) thankssss allll

this site is a good read and covers the conversion well,
the big issue with converting is, you will need to make room for the turbo, this means cutting the bulkhead and welding in a box, apart from that you need to swap some bits like engine mounts and ancilleries from the mini engine to the metro one,
power wise, you are looking at 93 hp from the factory, you can up this a bit with some more boost and an inter cooler, then with a bit of head work you can start pushing to 130-140hp, much more than this and your going to be getting towards gearbox issues, in fact you should think about fitting a cross pin diff as a matter of course.

yes the above is true,
you can swap in an MPI tank, fit a regulator and the return line. thats a neat way of doing it

A few other bits required like fuel pump, return fuel line, fuel pressure regulator. As long as your not wanting silly power as in over 100bhp it should last and be cheap enough, but let me warn you the power and way it is produced is very very addictive.
Have fun
I know I was toying with a few ideas, I'm waiting for someone to get back to me on a price for the full metro turbo set up!
A k1200rs conversion!
Annndd a supercharger kit! What ever one comes back first with the best price for kit will be the one I go with but I'm swaying more towards the metro turbo! :)
I've also pmed you
