Hi all. I have recently replaced the front brakes on my mini ( braided hoses, vented and grooved 8.4 discs, mini sport 4 pot calipers, pads and fluid.). The first few test drives with lots of low to mid range braking seemed good although a little dissapointing as i was expecting a bit more braking performance than I actually got.! Each time i used the brakes though everything seemed even and equal. However during a drive today under medium to high braking there is an obvious pull to the left. Could anyone tell me if this just one side of the brakes bedding in well first or could it be something more fundamentaly wrong ?? Comments Please...

If you've just fitted them, I'm not surprised, you have to bed them in fully before you'll get full power as the pads need to flatten fully to the new discs. Until then you may get some slight pulling or snapping of the brakes. Don't go full stamping on them to bed them, you'll just glaze the pad surface.

If you still have the package there should be a bedding in procedure I'm there somewhere. Else Google one.
