Evening all. I have a few bits I want to get rid of. I have a set of Mk2 ZR seats, really quite comfortable and the drivers seat has the lumbar support. These will fit a Mk1 car as well, but you will need to change the seat belt pre-tensioner (which is just a case of undoing a couple of bolts I believe). These are currently in my Rover, so would need a couple of days notice if you wanted to collect. I am off on Friday so can remove them then. £80 collected. Pics via email on request. I have a couple of what I believe to be Mk2 door cards I will chuck in as well, and I have the door cards for those as well I think (came from the same car originally as the seats).
I have a full set of suspension (springs and struts) from a ZR 160, as I was going to make a number of improvements to the car. However, my partner will now be using this car mostly and we need no mods at all for insurance purposes. So these are available for £40 collected, extra for postage. Quite heavy - obviously!
I have a centre pipe, which I believe is for a 2.0 diesel car. I meant to order one for a 1.4 petrol. So if anyone happens to have one for a 1.4 petrol, I will happily do a swap. If not, £20 collected or extra for postage.
Throttle cable and the inlet piece (not sure of the correct name, having a mind fart moment) to change a 83hp 1.4 engine to 103hp - basically the derestriction. The body piece needs a bit of a clean up as I bought it some time ago and it has been in the garage. £15 for the two, extra for postage.
MG ZR gear knob. Decent condition, push on type I believe. £3 plus postage.
I may have other small bit in the garage and will list if I find them. I may also be listing a range of non-MG-Rover stuff in the near future (i'll put it in a separate thread), as well as a load of Mini bits so check back over the next couple of days.
I require the following bits, so may be persuaded to do a part cash, part parts swap etc depending on what you have:
A passenger door for a 3 door model, in the pearlescent green, colour code HFF. Must have no dents. Not worried about the glass etc, as I have all of that - mine just has a huge dent.
Centre pipe for a 1.4 exhaust - a huge hole in mine!
A driver's side wing mirror cover, colour code HFF. Would swap this for the gear knob.
I live in Sandy, Bedfordshire for consideration for collection. I won't courier the seats. However, I may be able to deliver locally for a small fee depending on timings and distance etc. Pics are available for all items by request via email.
