Hi All,

I was hoping to find out if the central instrument cluster could be straight swapped for the LCD Sat Nav?

Noticed these lcd's can be picked up second hand for less than 150...and would look a damn sight nicer than the massive speedo.

Thanks in advance!

This forum is really for the Classic Mini, so you may find you get a better response somewhere like www.mini2.com or www.totalmini.com

There are some members on here that own the BMW MINI too, and may be able to help though.

It can be done but is not an easy swap......you need a lot of parts and wiring loom from the donor car I believe and your MINI then needs to be re-programmed to work with the new instrument cluster using the suitable BMW software.

As said the various MINI Forums will be more helpful, especially the USA Mini & MINI Forum NAM for the more unique technical info and mods like this:-
