a while ago i found a thread about making the rocker cover look nice (i did have it bookmarked but this isn't my pc) it too me a while before i did it and i final did the painting the rocker cover and it dose look rather nice. its done in Rover Hawaii (i think its hiwaii) blue or somthing like that. i had to paint a bit of my dad's car. so i had paint left over. anyway what do you think.

yeah. took a while to get all the old oil and stuff off. i started with a quick bit of white spirit. some good paint stripper then bit of sanding. coat of primer and then the rover paint. took a day and hasn't come off yet. been there for....week or two now.

UUhhhhmm.... I tied that........just made it more slippery....... :withstupid: :dontgetit:

Actually, I think I might give this a go on my rocker cover (well, as soon as I get the car back from the rebuild). I think a nice metalic red would work well on a red block and black shell.

Hmmmm, that got me thinking, I think the front face of the cover would be a good place to put a little personal mod! A little message like " Piloted by....." or "GET OUTA MY WAY" or something like that. Could get great results with an air brush or even a small sign writers or artists brush. :w00t:
