Hi All,
I’m new to the forum and am trying to track down the current owners of a Purple Mini Equinox Reg N299 SRG.
My girlfriend used to own the car and has always regretted selling it. At the time she got a new job with a company car, didn’t have a garage to store the mini and didn’t want to leave it lying by the road side rusting away, so ended up selling it, but she is always talking about how she would love to have it back.
I'm therefore hoping to track down the current owners and see if when they come to sell it whether they will give me the first option to purchase it. I then hope to renovate it, if it needs it and surprise my girlfriend with it for her Birthday or one Christmas.
I’ve tried contacting the DVLA but due to Data Protection they can’t give me the current keepers details or even forward a letter on to them from me, so I was wondering if the owners are on this site or if anyone knows the car or the owners and could let them know I’m looking for them and ask them to contact me.
