I can see this going for some silly money a NOS glass bottle and as you say still in the box too are literally unheard of, I shall be watching this just out of interest ;-)

Great find by the seller too ;-)

No fricking wAy! I could get a glass jar of pickled onions cheaper and use that! Insane what things go for now. Nice to see it original in the boxing tho.

Thing is, if you've got a 59/60 mini and you ain't got a glass washer bottle..............................well, you'd have to have one, wouldn't you?

Especially if it is the last missing original part and increases the overall resale value of your 1959 Mini by more than the cost of the glass bottle itself.

£409 and reserve not met, the £5.95 standard postage makes me laugh though. I can imagine it being delivered in a few more peices than in the photos.

Id be shipping that in something the size of a banana box, filled with much bubble wrap! Id buy it to use as a display item, too good to use really.

almost the rolex of jam jars

imagine putting that in a mk1 - & a bad frost - crack (although most mk1's are wrapped in cotton wool for the winter)

think thats why they went to plastic
