need something brush on as i dare get overspray onto my new exterior paint! what are you guys using? im starting to worry that my front wings need more protection on the underside!

It will be ok to use aerosol with a little masking to protect bodywork, but you could also just brush on gravitex stonechip, but finish wouldn't be as good as spraying.

I use chassis black, then Dynax -UB over the top, followed by a pair of plastic arch liners to protect it all.

I think Upol also do an aerosol one called Graviguard,though as said you can brush on their Gravitex. You can topcoat Gravitex and Graviguard, which you can't with things like 3M schutz.
