Link is no longer working just to let you know

And if you didn't already know, and HID setup in a minis headlight will technically be illegal so bear that in mind

The h4 hid kits are not very good and also illegal the light scatter off them blinds oncoming traffic and they won't pass mot. if you want hid bulbs fit proper projectors if not then just fit uprated bulbs to existing lights.

Why are they illegal and can  you send a link for the projectors, thanks

They also require a headlight washer system

The heat might also be an issue for your current reflectors.

With Xenon bulbs in lamps which aren't designed for xenon, the light tends to get thrown out all over the place.

I also think the color of xenons, looks naif on non-modern cars.

It's been done but it's a right rigmarole.  There's a full step-by-step project out there on the web if you search.

I've probably posted this too many times on here, but this topic seems to keep coming up repeatedly. It's not a good idea to put a raw HID bulb into a haogen headlamp reflector. The light output is going to suck for you, and REALLY suck for oncoming traffic. You're going to be "that guy" and ultimately you'll be unhappy with it.

If you want to know what goes into making your own Projectors for HID's, check out my thread I posted as detailed of a step-by-step as I could when I did mine. I've done 4 sets of headlights. 2 for my personal vehicles including the mini.

No, they don't have auto leveling or headlamp washers, but if you're going to do it, at least do it right. It looks better, it gives you 100 times more useable light, and it doesn't blind traffic. Oh.. and you get high and low beams.

Here's my full step by step write-up and a couple pictures of my setup, and then a picture of what a HID in a standard reflector looks like vs an HID in a projector:
