Right, hang on. Are these your watches? Or are they being made by someone else and you'd just seen them?

If they're yours, and you're trying to advertise them, then you need to register as a trader on here.

OOOOOOOH BUSTED!

dum dum dummmmmmm

ooops so sorry I didn't know you had to be registered as a trader!

I've just recently started working as an intern and thought I would get it out there and hear what people thought about the concept!

how do I register then ?

It's OK, just couldn't tell from your first post.

Well, if you're just working there, then I'm not really sure.  BUT, if you're trying to sell them, then we'll need you to register as a trader.

If you look in the classifieds/trader section, you'll see that you need to send you details to Sonikk4 via a personal message.  Then you'll be able to advertise in the proper section and do a proper advert

Here come da TMF popo!...

.....who are simply trying to help people out.

We could just let random people sign up, advertise £300 items on here, let you send them your money and not be able to help in any way at all when you've spent your money and no goods come through the post..

Very gimmicky to me. No offence but I can't see what the appeal is. A wall clock made out of Paddy Hopkirks steering wheel, yes, random bit of metal that may or may not have been a mini, no. And as for price I must be tight, anything more than £30 is expensive to me :-)

As Matt has said, the Traders registration process is there to protect TMF members from being ripped off. Traders details are kept on a database in order that they can be used in the event of any issues.

Is there any need to refer to team members who are trying to make the forum run smoothly using derogatory terms? (I take it the phrase was meant derogatorily?)

I have already made my feelings known about these to the company, personally I haven't bought one yet, not for the fact it's not a nice watch, it is and I like them a lot it's more the fact I am holding out on them introducing the ability to send them some sheet metal from your pride and joy and make it into a watch. My mini, my first car, is and always will be my first car love, and for that reason I would love a watch made from it, I have some old panel work that would be suitable however as they don't offer the service as yet I am holding off on them. I recon this could be a popular option to look into for the future!

hmmmmm, very odd concept.............just because you want to eat the burger, doesnt mean you want to meet the cow!

i agree with above comments, if you could send a bit of your car off that would be more interesting.

£250 ish for a watch that isnt made by any kind of prestige manufacturer seems expensive to me. id rather go to a good jewelers and buy something. having said that i wouldnt spend that much on a watch anyway.

The number on the back is not the VIN number but just the serial number...

that makes it even less desireable.
