Hi, I am changing my door skin for the first time and have managed to remove it, but there was was a rail that I have partially removed by accident and was wanting to replace. I can't seem to find any reference to it though on minispares or m machine. Anyone know what it is? The door skin was spot welded to it at the top.

That's part of the door skin it will come pre-welded to your new one.

The door skin is just that. A sheet skin, that you have to form and fold around a complete door inner. Bottom of your door needs a new section fabricated to replace the bottom flange which has rusted away....

Next door skin, go around the edge of the door with a grinder (90 degrees to the door skin), doing a bit at a time until the skin edge gets thin and parts, and then nip off the two bits of weld holding it to the door frame. This avoids damaging the door inner.
