Is there anyway I can tidy up / unclutter my mini's engine bay it's a 1989 Austin 1000 city e, with a 1275 engine

The brake servos on the later cars take up a lot of space but it's not really practical to get rid of those. To clear some space you could put the washer and breather bottles elsewhere e.g inside the wheel arch. But other than that your struggling

You can also get some custom length plug leads and some tidy clips like these to make them look nicer:

You could also move your ignition coil and do some general hose and wire tucking and wrapping to keep them hidden as much as possible.

Depends what you desire and colours maybe a new rocker cover /few things from dsn

Thanks for the response, I am currently taking the engine out in going to clean and paint the engine and was just wandering how I could put it back a bit tidier than what it is now
