I have acquired a nice shiny chrome boot handle but without keys. I have dismantled the two sections hoping to use the barrel from the existing handle but can't see how or if it can be done.
Can the barrel be changed or is it part of the handle? If I'm right and it is a one piece part, can keys be cut from the lock number on the handle?

yes the key can be bought from a locksmiths (best take lock to them) as they wont just give you a no: key...or you can try and change the barrel.. it can once you have remove the shroud from handle and removed dirt and grease you will need to file flat the lugs and remove the metal cup then clean now you should see 2 pins that need knocking out and a old key to help pull the barrel out ..........
