hey guys.. as per the title.. which is better.. 2 core or 3 core aluminium radiators? lets discuss :)

My standard twin core cools too much even with a two blade fan  :errr: in GB of course. it'll be different where you are Daenesh.

thats the problem.. 2 core seems sufficient here where temperatures outside reach 35 degrees Celsius but there are some who say 3 core are actually worse than the 2 core because of the surface area that touches the fins..

Wouldn't that be more down to your thermostat? The radiator will only cool the water once the stat is open.

Wouldn't that be more down to your thermostat? The radiator will only cool the water once the stat is open.

 

 

yeah thats true as well.. my stat is an 82 degrees but with bypass holes around the sides so water always flows but with restriction.. similar to what a blanking sleeve does..

There is a free flow hole to allow for expansion and air to get into the radiator as it is the highest point in the cooling system.

i agree.. definitely need to fit an expansion tank
