Hello

I regret to inform that my mini project is up for sale, i am off to university next year and won't have time to fix it up.

I have spent £££ on this car and within the sale all the parts and panels that i purchased for the project these include;

  • Scuttle panel repair RH

  • Scuttle panel repair LH

  • Outer sill LH

  • Outer sill RH

  • Front footwell LH

  • Front footwell RH

  • Rear floor LH

  • Rear floor RH

  • Front wing LH inc head lamp ring

  • Front wing RH inc head lamp ring

  • Genuine heritage toeboard

That is £300 in panels included in the sale (£350 including postage)! this means that there is most of the panels ready to be welded onto the car.

The car itself is a 1977 Leyland mini 998 in red.

As you can see in the photos below there is a fair amount of welding to be done to the shell of the car.

  • Front subframe is very sound

  • Rear is slightly less but still salvageable

  • Original interior is included along with 2 bucket seats

  • Original and non original steering wheels included

  • Engine did run but when removed and examined the piston is scored along with the barrel but is a fairly easy repair for machine shop.

The car is currently braced and on a rollover spit which will be included in the price of £850.

I apologize for the fairly brief description please feel free to message me or reply to the topic with any questions you may have.

I'd be interested in this for a K Series project. Local to me too! Trying to find a garage to rent is the problem :(

it would be easy to load into a trailer. Ask around maybe a mate has one you can borrow, as for the condition there is no doubt it is a project but it has plenty of potential.

Dmr, i would prefer to sell as a whole project sorry. :-)

hi will, i might suggest asking on local farms they often rent garages, depending how local i might be able to put you in touch with a few.
