starting for the first time

hopefully going to be start my engine for the first time tomorrow (well today) :withstupid:

any tips im going to need?

Like the carb, how rich/lean do i want to start it off? think the screw is all the way in ATM.

Anything else i need to do/ look out for.

before firing up you must check you have oil pressure, take off the dissy cap so it does not fire and crank the engine over. until you get pressure should be around 80psi. if you have no pressure, fill the oil filter with oil, then it should go. hope you have an oil pressure gauge?
