Not part of the brake master cylinder assy.

Often mounted on the inner wing clutch side.

It's not physically joined to the master cylinder .. it's a separate unit which is linked via copper pipes.  Means you can servo a car that didn't have one originally and doesn't have a suitable servo/master combo available or it will not fit on the master cylinder.

My car was not so equipped.  The part in question was not part of a servo.
